Ever open the document, then just close it again? It's not because you're lazy. You can already see how far it'll fall short of the perfect version in your head, so you wait for a better moment. That's perfectionism. And here's the thing, it isn't really high standards, it's fear in disguise. Wanting it to be great is the very thing stopping you from starting. So try this. Give yourself permission to make a bad first draft. Lower the bar just to start, two minutes, one paragraph. You can add the polish later. A finished sixty percent beats a perfect hundred percent that never leaves your head, because a finished thing can be improved. Today, aim for done, not perfect.
